The Next Level Armory Mission
My father worked for Nabisco for over 25 years in sales and retired as a divisional sales manager in the Northeast market. His tenure, over two and a half decades, brought him through the fires of the Bronx to call on grocery conglomerates in New York City to the deep woods of Northwest Massachusetts visiting family owned supermarkets and everywhere in between. By the time he retired, he had numerous “Million Dollar” sales awards and friends in the food sales industry spanning 16 states…..many of which he still stays in contact with today.
In 2010, I opened Next Level Readiness. With nearly 20 years experience in the emergency response community, I held positions ranging from Firefighter to EMT to Deputy Commander of a Medical Task Force. Little did I know, each of those jobs provided me with customer service experience…only we were providing our service to a stranger at their most desperate time of need.
My father and I had different paths in customer service…but one thing he said to me became the foundation on which our level of customer service is built.
“Without customers, you don’t have a job. You could offer everything in the world in your store, but if you don’t take care of your customer, you will be unemployed.”
Before Next Level Readiness was opened, I was increasingly frustrated with the customer service I personally experienced at almost every place I would go in a day. From mechanics to clothing stores to restaurants and banks…it was almost an attitude of “if you don’t like it, go somewhere else.” I felt the need to change that…
What is the commonality between a sales manager in the food industry and an emergency responder? Passion…passion to help. Passion to serve your customer. Passion to give them the best experience possible.
If you’ve passed by our store in Huntersville…that gray, daunting, screened window building in Huntersville…and never stopped in, I’m sure you’ve questioned why we’ve been here for over five years. But, if you’ve taken a chance and actually got to know us, you know the answer. We’re passionate about what we do. We’ve used every single square inch of our property to bring you, our customer, a higher level of service, training and value.
We want you to be confident in your training AND the tool you use to train with. We’ve worked long and hard to bring you honest reviews and opinions on firearms, gear, self defense products and ammunition so that you can make a more informed decision on how to equip yourself. We don’t work on commission and we won’t try to upsell you on something you don’t need.
When I opened Next Level Readiness in 2010, I didn’t fully realize the path I chose. Eight years later, I realize I’m following in my father’s footsteps. I’m continuing my family’s business…customer service.
Passionate to Serve. Driven by Value.
